Gere 3.0 er slitesterke utendørsbukser med overlegen slitestyrke, vindmotstand, og en raffinert, lett konstruksjon.
Gere 3.0-buksene til herre er laget av vårt Levitend®-stoff i en vindbestandig konstruksjon som holder myggen på avstand. Det er blandet med elastan for stretch og slitestyrke, og har Oculus® Icebreaker-forsterkning i fald og i kanten av lommene. Med rikelig med funksjonalitet, blant annet sideventilasjon med glidelås for bedre pusteevne, integrert boot lace-krok, benlommer med glidelås og linning med beltehemper og stretchbelte inkludert. Disse buksene er perfekte for guider, klatrere og profesjonelle som trenger pålitelig utstyr.

Levitend® - 95% Ultramid® Bio-Mass Balanced Polyamide, 5% elastan, 284 g/m²
Levitend® are our Polyamide based apparel fabrics. Depending on the intended use, Levitend® can include a mix of other fibers, such as polyester and Elastane. Our goal is to make Levitend® fabrics in full compliance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality.
Polyamide (Nylon) is a synthetic fiber that creates extraordinarily strong and versatile fabrics with high abrasion resistance, very good resilience to wear and tear, and a high breaking extension.
The Polyamides we use are derived from recycled, bio-feedstock and virgin sources. Please see ‘Polyamide’ for more information about the different choices regarding the origin of Levitend®.
Forsterkning
Oculus® Icebreaker - 100% brukt, resirkulert polyester, 155 g/m²
Oculus® is the group name for our polyester apparel fabrics, produced in accordance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. These fabrics can include a mix of polyester or Elastane to get the desired qualities.
Polyester has close to no water absorption, high abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and is very wrinkle resistant. This makes it ideal for use in outdoor packs and apparel.
bluesign®-godkjent stoff
bluesign® is a standard for environmental health and safety in textile manufacturing. The bluesign® organization provides independent auditing of textile mills, closely examining manufacturing processes from raw materials and energy inputs to water and air emissions outputs.
bluesign® helps us to keep control over the supply chain and choose manufacturing partners based on their commitment to safety and environment.
The bluesign® approval on our fabrics means that it complies with the highest standards of consumer safety by using materials and techniques that save resources and minimize environmental impact. Klättermusen has been a bluesign® system partner since 2007.
DWR
Durable Water Repellent belegg
Durable water repellent - commonly referred to as DWR, is a treatment which creates a water repellent (hydrophobic) surface on a fabric. The water repellent prevents the fabric from becoming saturated with water which both affects the function of the garment and the user experience.
All types of DWR become less effective over time, because of wear, washing and ultra-violet radiation from the sun. This degradation over time requires re-proofing the fabrics which can be performed at home using wash-in or spray-on DWR.
Klättermusen uses DWRs 100% free of fluorocarbons. We were the first outdoor company to completely remove PFOA (one of the most hazardous fluorocarbons) from all garments already in 2008.
Fluorocarbons are commonly used because they technically are effective – however, they are also an endocrine disruptor proven to cause reproductive harm. Fluorocarbons present a growing problem in nature and the outdoor industry which professes to care about nature.
Vaskeråd
Vaskes i maskin, bruk et vanlig program på 40 °C. Ikke bruk blekemiddel eller kjemisk rensing. Strykes på maksimalt 110 °C. Dampstrykejern kan forårsake irreversibel skade.
