The La Sportiva Lumina 200 Down Jkt combines generous down insulation with a low weight for mountaineering, cold-weather stops and packing into your mountain kit.
Its 125 g of Italian down has a fill power of 1,000 cuin: this describes how much volume the down can loft into, providing insulation for very little weight. Overall warmth also depends on the amount of down and the jacket construction. Dedicated down chambers help distribute the insulation.
The recycled Pertex Quantum outer fabric is lightweight and downproof. Diamond Fuse technology uses specially shaped yarns to improve abrasion resistance while keeping the fabric light. As with other lightweight mountain garments, take care around sharp rock and equipment. Elastic inner cuffs help retain warmth; the included compression bag reduces packed volume, and a repair kit helps with minor fabric damage.
