The Arc'teryx Heliad 15 Backpack is an incredibly lightweight, packable daypack designed for summit pushes, travel, and minimalist everyday carry. Taking inspiration from the efficiency of climbing summit packs, it strips away unnecessary bulk to provide a streamlined, highly functional bag that easily stows away into its own pocket when not in use.
The Deep Dive: Constructed from a specialized 100D Cordura® Mini Ripstop fabric, the Heliad 15 punches far above its weight class in terms of tear resistance and durability. Despite weighing almost nothing, the fabric is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish to shed light moisture. The pack features a top-loading design for effortless access, internal organization for hydration bladders or small tablets, and highly breathable shoulder straps for comfort on hot summer approaches.
